2019年京都市立芸術大学大学院 美術研究科博士(後期)課程 美術専攻研究領域(油画)修了。

Yumi Nishimura (b. 1989, Tokyo) is a Hiroshima-based painter and educator.

She received her PhD in Painting from Kyoto City University of Arts in 2019.

Recent solo exhibitions include

Exudate and Scab(Gallery & Restaurant Butaiura,Tokyo,2026); Paintings ⇄ The Attitude of the Stories That Give Birth to Them (Hanbey-Fu Gojo Building, Kyoto, 2025); A dog, stones, stories (I Still Live There) (FINCH ARTS, Kyoto, 2023); and A dog, stones, stories (The first) (HARMAS GALLERY, Tokyo, 2022).
